The review examines the collection The Press of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in the Reception of European Journalism (1873–1939): Selected Works. The publication is assessed as an important source for the study of the history of Ukrainian scholarship, the press, and cultural communication. Special attention is given to the
representation of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in the European information space and to the contribution of the volume to research on transnational intellectual networks.
