Policy on Compliance with Mandatory Ethical Approval

The Journal considers for review research in the humanities conducted in accordance with ethical principles and the legislation of Ukraine, in cases where the study involves human participants (surveys, interviews, focus groups, observation) or animals (work with biological materials or animals in interdisciplinary research), the use of personal or confidential data, or archival materials with restricted access.

In such cases, authors are required to obtain prior ethical approval from the relevant institutional ethics committee and indicate this in the manuscript, ensuring voluntary informed consent, anonymity, and confidentiality.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to request supporting documentation or to reject a manuscript in cases of non-compliance with ethical requirements, in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics.
