Policy on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-supported technologies
The Journal acknowledges the possibility of using artificial intelligence (AI) tools and AI-supported technologies in the preparation of scholarly publications, provided that the principles of academic integrity, author responsibility, and transparency are strictly observed.
Use of AI by Authors
Authors may use AI tools solely as auxiliary instruments, in particular for:
- language editing of the text;
- improving style and readability;
- translation of texts.
The use of AI is not permitted for:
- generating scientific content, research results, or conclusions;
- creating or falsifying data;
- automatic generation of references without proper verification.
The author bears full responsibility for the content of the article regardless of the tools used.
If AI tools have been used, the author must properly disclose this in a note or in the section «Acknowledgements», specifying the nature of such use.
Use of AI by Reviewers and Editors
Reviewers and members of the editorial board are prohibited from uploading manuscripts or any of their parts to third-party AI services, as this may violate copyright and confidentiality of personal data.
Violations and Responsibility
Non-transparent or improper use of AI that affects the scientific novelty, reliability, or authorship of the material is considered a violation of publication ethics and may serve as grounds for rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the publication.
All disputed cases are considered in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) or the current legislation of Ukraine.
