Press Studies is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that provides free full-text online access to all published materials. Thus, the editorial board complies with the requirements of the «Regulations on the Open Access Journal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine» (No. 127 of 20.03.2024) and confirms cooperation with the international scientific community in supporting global initiatives for open access to research results.
The journal is a scholarly publication in the field of the humanities devoted to the study of press history and the history of journalism as components of the historical and cultural development of society. The main focus is on the study of Ukrainian and world press of the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries in the context of the social, political, intellectual, and cultural processes of the respective periods.
Target audience:
historians, scholars of press and journalism studies, political scientists, cultural studies scholars, university lecturers, doctoral candidates, PhD students, students of higher education institutions, journalists.
